Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I just joined this site today. I am from Abilene Texas and enjoy getting out and riding anytime I can get away from work. We like long weekend rides and also a couple of good trips per year. We dont trailer the bike anywhere, so we only put on about 400 miles a day and then stop and enjoy the area we are in and then leave the next morning. In 2011 we make a 3200 mile trip to South Dakota (Sturgis and surrounding areas) and then back to Texas. 60 degrees when we left Sturgis and 110 when we arrived home.
