Glad you are okay...I have commented on this before but: when first at the limit line, far left or far right and watch, watch, watch and be ready to bail. If other traffic, pull in between cars. I know you can't split traffic in many states but I have yet to be ticketed when I explained what I was doing between cars. Yes, I have been pulled over. Splitting traffic, moving or stopped is the one thing I miss about California. Oh, and IN N OUT!!!!! Recently a woman was convicted for some form of manslaughter for killing a motorcyclist stopped at a limit line for a light or sign. She hit the motor at 50 mph. She was busy putting on her lipstick. Ride often and ride safe...
