Congratulations to you and Mom! I think you will see it is not really a hobby but a FULL TIME job, one you want to do and one that has great rewards.
In all honesty, I like digging in the dirt. Yardwork. Making stuff grow. Problem is, that just like riding, it requires nice weather. So, when the weather is nice, do I fire up the lawnmower or the bike??? Bet you can guess which one wins most of the time! (as I wave from behind head-high grass!)
Windsurfing and bicycling during the warmer times of the year. When it's a windy day (rare) it's definitely going to be windsurfing. Otherwise it's a tough choice between the MCing or bicycling, sometimes I can do both on same day.
Cross country skiing to get through the winter
I'm from Cork where hurling is a way of life not a hobbie ! Rowing for me...used to row competition for years but now i'm past 45 so its just a pastime usually get out in the boat for 6/10 miles on Sunday morningsother than that politics and tropical fish.
I too enjoy photography, digital art, traveling, and adventurous activities... which is why I am called "Adventure Girl" a name given me by friends/former colleagues.

Tried golf a couple of times.........I would rather shave my head with a cheese grader or chew on tin foil than play golf ever again. I like getting outdoors and do some camping and hunting.
