Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I just joined this site today. I am from Abilene Texas and enjoy getting out and riding anytime I can get away from work. We like long weekend rides and also a couple of good trips per year. We dont trailer the bike anywhere, so we only put on about 400 miles a day and then stop and enjoy the area we are in and then leave the next morning. In 2011 we make a 3200 mile trip to South Dakota (Sturgis and surrounding areas) and then back to Texas. 60 degrees when we left Sturgis and 110 when we arrived home.

Nice to meet you Ron, I agree, don't trailer and enjoy the road trip.. are you going to Sturgis this year? I am doing everything I can to make sure to make it. Would be nice to meet up with you there.
