A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa Freedom Rally

  • ALGONA, IOWA (FEBRUARY 4): A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa is thrilled to announce the 41st Annual Freedom Rally, taking place at Freedom Park in Algona, Iowa, from July 3 to July 5, 2024. The Freedom Rally will feature big-name musicians along with a variety of activities over the three-day weekend, including mud wrestling, a tattoo contest, bike shows and rodeos, a burnout pit, fireworks, vendors, and much more!
In a recent interview, David Duffy, the State Coordinator for A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa, stated, “As our largest membership drive and fundraiser, it is exciting to see how much the Freedom Rally has grown and changed over the past 41 years. We still have many members and attendees who have been with us since our beginning at the park in Humboldt, and each year, we continue to welcome new faces at the Rally. A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa is busy year-round, and the Rally is a wonderful opportunity to showcase everything we are doing throughout Iowa.”
Duffy added, “The Freedom Rally is one of the largest bike rallies in the U.S.A., attracting attendees from all corners of the country and even from abroad. A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa encourages everyone to check it out this year, whether you arrive on two wheels or four.”

The main stage will host America’s AC/DC Tribute, Thunderstruck, and America’s Van Halen Experience, Jump, on Thursday, July 3.

On Friday, July 4, Colt Ford, a successful country artist with five consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, will perform. His album “Declaration of Independence” debuted at #1 in 2012, and his success continued with “Thanks for Listening,” which reached the Top 10 of the Top 200 and #1 on the Billboard Rap & Independent charts. With over 3 million albums sold, millions of social media followers, and more than a billion streams, this is a show you won’t want to miss!

Opening for Ford on Friday is Creed Fisher, an All-American musician known for his storytelling and hard work. As a rising Outlaw Country star, Fisher has around 100 million streams on Spotify and nearly 60 million views on YouTube. His raw, unfiltered sound combines traditional country with modern elements.

Saturday, July 5, will see the main stage headlined by the modern rock phenomenon Pop Evil! This band has celebrated nine No. 1 hit singles, seven successful albums, and achieved multiple Gold and Platinum certifications. Opening for Pop Evil is Fuel, who emerged as a prominent hard rock band in the late 1990s with their platinum album "Sunburn," which featured enduring anthems like “Shimmer” and “Bittersweet.” Their 2001 follow-up, "Something Like Human," achieved double-platinum certification and included the hit single “Hemorrhage (In My Hands),” which topped the charts for 13 weeks and ranks as one of the most-listened-to alternative rock songs of the past 30 years.

Additional beer-barn bands will be announced at a later date.

Rally Passes will go on sale this Friday, February 7, 2025 at 8 AM. A.B.A.T.E. members can purchase 3-Day Rally Passes for just $60, and members can buy one additional ticket at the member price (for either a member or non-member). Non-members are also welcome; passes will be available for $120. Saturday-only passes will also be offered at $60 for both members and non-members.

As the organization's primary fundraiser and membership drive, the Freedom Rally aims to raise awareness about the important work A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa is doing across the state. This includes motorcycle education programs like Share the Road, 2-Wheel Trauma, and Riders Education, as well as legislative advocacy for motorcycle rights in Iowa and Washington D.C.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Freedom Rally; you do not need to be a member or a biker. By joining A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa, you can save $30 on this year’s passes. A “Member” includes membership in any state-supported motorcycle rights organization, and a complete list of accepted organizations is available on the rally website. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

Tent camping is included in the price of admission, with car, trailer, and bike parking available on-site. RV camping is limited, but you can reserve an RV spot online when purchasing your Rally Pass.

Car parking is available at the gates for just $10 each time you enter the park. This year, a limited number of 3-Day VIP Car Passes will be sold. These passes allow the holder to enter and exit the park without paying for parking every time. The cost for the 3-Day VIP Car Pass is $60.
