Rules :
Anything goes! It can be red or green, with or without beans, and can include meat or be meatless. Whatever your infamous Chili recipe calls for!
Each contestant must cook a minimum of 8 quarts of competition chili. The chili must be cooked from scratch.
Chili must be kept in a crock pot or electrical roaster to maintain a temperature of 140 degrees or higher. All food must be covered when not in use to prevent contamination.
Each contestant will be assigned a number and must verify that the number on the bottom of tasters judging cup matches their contestant number.
Dealers Choice Judges will vote for the chili they liked best based on: flavor, texture, spices, aroma, and color. People’s Choice will be judged however their heart desires.
The decisions made by the judges are final!
