Join us in honoring a true Hometown Hero for the 1st Annual Sgt. Christopher Moore Memorial Ride. On July 4, 2024, Sgt. Moore was tragically shot and killed in Taneytown, MD. Chris was a decorated Sgt. in the Maryland National Guard up to his untimely death and was a Volunteer Firefighter. Chris selfishlessly gave back to his country and community and did so...proudly.
Registration begins at 10am with KSU at 11am for a scenic ride through the countryside of some of his favorite spots. The ride will conclude at the Harney VFW where we will have basket raffles, 50/50 drawings and you can purchase food and beverages. If you don't ride, you can still show your support by attending the Harney VFW event at the end of the ride (ETA 1pm). We ask that participants wear Camoflauge gear as way to honor our Hometown Hero.
