Event Desc

  • This is the LARGEST and longest standing Exposition of personal Body Art in the state of Colorado!

    Held annually in memory of Uncle Bud Yates, the events founder, this competition has grown in popularity over the past two decades and now boasts hundreds of entries from folks from many states all over the Nation.

    Several local studios support the event thru sponsorship. Without these sponsoring studios, the competition would not happen. We salute these business men and women and their artists for their support.

    Custom awards are given out in 10 updated categories (1st thru 3rd place) plus the coveted Best of Show trophy. In addition, each artist of each winning piece gets a custom made award for their studio.

    The competition fills up quickly and often, certain categories fill to capacity and late entries can't be accommodated, so REGISTER EARLY!
