We begin gathering at 8:00AM and will leave (KSU) at 9:00 AM. Going east we will take an easy ride through the quiet West Chambers Country roads to Anahuac cemetery and make sure every American soldier has a flag on their grave. Last year we placed almost 100 flags.

From the cemetery we will continue to Fort Anahuac Park and respectfully join the American Legion’s Memorial Day service that is held at the war memorial at the entrance to the park at 11:00 AM.

Afterwards there will be patriotic music along with an assortment of contemporary and traditional Christian music. We will also be cooking lunch for all veterans.

Our goal is an old-fashioned, God and Country Memorial Day in the park. We had about 80 people come with us in 2016 and hope to see more this year.
