  • On Sunday May 21, 2017 we will hold the Annual Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Motorcycle Ride. The run will start at Rescue Fire Company, 3701 North 6th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 and we will depart at 10 am and travel to our final destination. Funds are being raised to support the Line of Duty Death fund for EMTs, Paramedics and other Ambulance/Rescue personnel. We hold this motorcycle ride each year to raise funds for the families of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel who died in the line of preforming their EMS duties. Many of the EMS Services and Ambulance companies across the country are volunteer or independently owned and may not have life insurance for its staff.

The route of this scenic and organized annual ride across central Pennsylvania will go past the stations of those EMS personnel who died in the line of duty. The average length of this ride may be a 100 miles or shorter depending on the need of passing EMS stations affected by a line of duty death in this region. Many motorcycle rides are held in support of our military and veterans, Law Enforcement, and the Fire Services, however this is the only ride in support of Emergency Medical Services in our Commonwealth.

The cost of this ride is a donation of $20 per driver and $10 per passenger. Additional information is available by contacting Megan Ruby at the EHS Federation (717) 774-7911 or Email: mruby@ehsf.org
