VEMA Savannah will be hosting a poker run on 22 OCT to help benefit the Tiny House Project in Savannah. This project is a new project the City of Savannah has started that was approved earlier this year and they were finally able to to purchase land for it this past month. The primary goal of the Tiny House Project is to build 1 room homes for our homeless Veterans so they can get off the streets, have a safe place to sleep, and begin to look for work again without having to drag their belongings with them everywhere. VEMA Savannah is extremely excited to participate in this project and be a part of bettering the lives of our homeless Veterans in the community.
