Get this one on your calendar, it will be the biggest party in East Texas in 2016. The Longview News-Journal announces the inaugural event of the year, Rockers Riders and Ribs. The party will start Saturday morning, October 22nd with kickstands up at 9:00 am, with the "Thunder in the View" ride to Bear Creek. Our goal is to have this be the biggest ride ever staged in East Texas, so make sure you register early. The ride will start in Longview and will end at the Bear Creek Smokehouse where every rider will enjoy the "Picnic in the Pasture". Registered riders will receive a meal and a special edition "Picnic in the Pasture" t-shirt. A portion of the proceeds from the ride will benefit B.A.C.A (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Once we leave Bear Creek we will ride back to Longview and the "Thunder in the View" parade of riders will serve as the kickoff to Rockers Riders & Ribs starting at 1:00 PM.

The streets of downtown Longview will be blocked off, with the exception of the registered "Thunder in the View" bikes that will have special parking inside the event.The "Southern Rock"party will start with the first of 7 bands beginning at 1:00 pm, The Ally Venable Band, Wes Jeans, Louisiana Swamp Donky, will get everybody warmed up. Then it will be time for Big Smo, Shooter Jennings, The Georgia Satellites and our National Headliner The Marshall Tucker Band.

Everybody gets thirsty in Texas, you can quench your thirst in our beer garden while enjoying your bbq from some of the best vendors in East Texas. You cant have the biggest party in the region without a little shopping, maybe it's a new shirt, or hat, or seat for your sled, we'll have vendors from all over the region waiting to help you.

Everybody's seen burnout contests but the Roughneck Harley Davidson burnout contest will be like no other, and the "registered" winner will walk away with $1,500 and a new tire. Rockers Riders & Ribs is all about the bbq and the bikes, and we want to find out who is the best in both worlds.

You'll want to be there for the "Rockin the Ribs" cookoff and the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys "Best of Texas" bike show.

Hey don't leave the kids at the house, we will have a "Kids Zone" full of bouncy inflatables, clowns, and games.

Speaking of games, you'll want to participate in our "Bikers Blast" games where you'll have the chance to win prizes and awards.
