Hands of Rescue, Inc., is proud to announce the 4th Annual Ride For Independence. There will be a approx 90 mile ride thru the countryside in the morning as a fundraiser for Heart Havens, who build homes for Intellectually disabled adults so that they can live out on their own, living 4 persons to a house with 24 hour care staff. The ride will leave from Richmond Harley Davidson, ride past the Tate Home in Ashland, where the residents will be out cheering the bikers on, then thru the countryside before returning to Richmond Harley. Registration 8:30am, KSU at 10:00am

There will be over 40 vendors at Richmond HD, please come out and support Heart Havens, as well as all of the vendors selling their wares. There is sure to be something for everyone. Jewelry, cigars, smoking pipes, do-rags, t-shirts, herbs and spices, perfume and candles, and of course food trucks. There will be a bird rescue group there with An American Bald Eagle. There will be companion service dogs.

The American Red Cross will also be on hand with a blood drive between 11:30-4:30. Anyone who makes a blood donation will be entered into a private prize drawing to win 1 of 3 $100.00 gift cards.

In the afternoon, there will be a 2nd ride that will be leaving Richmond Harley Davidson. This ride thru the countryside is a fundraiser for MIAP - Missing In America Project. They work with local funeral homes to locate and identify UNCLAIMED cremated remains of Military personnel. If no family members can be found, then MIAP provides the Military person with a proper Military funeral.
