  • Motorcycle Escort Riders Needed: On Friday, September 18, 2015 over forty Shelby County Veterans, their guardians and trip volunteers riding in two motor coaches will depart the Shelby County Fairgrounds, 800 Fair Road, Sidney at 8:00 am sharp to visit their WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War memorials in Washington, DC. The motorcycle escort and motor coach caravan will depart from the fairgrounds and through Sidney to I-75 Exit 92 then south to Vandalia Exit 63 where riders will pull off onto the exit ramp and wave the veterans, their guardians and volunteers on to Washington, DC. YOUR PARTICIPATION WOULD BE A GREAT TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO’VE SERVED OUR MILITARY DURING OUR PAST CONFLICTS. PLEASE BE IN PLACE BY 7:30am.
