1st Annual Bekah's Cruise for Kids will be held August 8th in Park City, KS starting at Alef's Harley Davidson in Park City. This first time event is for Bekah & Friends Foundation based in Derby, KS. Our Foundation is a living embodiment of Bekah Crowe, from Wichita, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer at just age 14 in 2012. Bekah passed away just 93 days after her diagnosis. She was a very giving young lady who loved kids and wanted to cheer up everyone. Before her death, Bekah was thrilled to know of our plans to have a Foundation in her name and she helped create several ideas that would continue to give in her name/memory just as she wanted to do in life. Our mission is to educate about Ovarian & Childhood Cancers, and reach out to children newly diagnosed with cancer, especially to local children, through cancer specific "first aid kits and treats" which we have appropriately named "Bekah's Buddy's". Proceeds from this event will fund this program sent to children all over the United States. Since our beginning, we have sent out 1413 Bekah's Buddy's.

This event is our first as a Foundation and we would love to continue to grow and have this annually. We will start/gather at Alef's Harley Davidson, registration beginning at 7am. First group will leave at 8am, and last bike out by 930am. Registration is $20, $15 each additional game. We will have children from the community who have or are currently battling cancer for all rider to meet and enjoy as we do. Our ride will have a Blind Poker game with a nice cruising ride through Kingman, Sumner, Harper, & Sedgwick Counties. Ride beginning in Park City, with stops through Viola, Zenda, & Kingman, and back to Park City Kansas.
