First Car and Motorcycle Show & Shine July 19th
For the first time Kla Ha Ya Days offers a combined car and motorcycle show in Downtown Snohomish
As the Kla Ha Ya Days summertime festival flows through history some things stay the same and some things change. One thing that is somewhat staying the same yet offering more is the first ever Car and Motorcycle Show & Shine on Sunday July 19th from 10am to 4pm.
Produced by Sky Valley ABATE the new show will be held in Downtown Snohomish on 1st Street west of Avenue D near the Visitor Information Center between 1301 1st Street and 1801 1st Street.
“You can expect to see some awesome motorcycles and cars,” says Roger Hanson, Deputy Coordinator of the Sky Valley ABATE organization. Hanson who has been to many Kla Ha Ya Days in the 17 years that he’s lived in Snohomish and thinks they all are fun continues, “Adding the bike/car show will add something special that has never been seen before.”
Rod Hobelman, Coordinator of Sky Valley ABATE and also the show’s Coordinator, invites car and motorcycle enthusiasts to pre-register their vehicles by July 3rd; cars $20 and Motorcycles $15 which includes a T-shirt for both. The Show & Shine will not be judged but will feature People’s Choice winners – and includes trophies and three cash places for cars and three cash places for motorcycles; $100 for first place, $50 for second and $25 for third. The event is free to Kla Ha Ya Days attendees.
