I have always liked the Corbin seats - narrow and low. Some say the are a little firm, but I find them very comfortable, even on long rides.

you can remove some of the stuffing towards the point which will bring your legs close together when in the saddle and also it will make it more comfy while waiting for the traffic signal to change

Hey wolfhound, got to tell you that I wasn't very happy after getting a seat with the gel insert. I was doing the Houston to Dallas thing every week and decided to try it. Bought a seat at a really with gel insert, and it did feel great when I first set on it, but after a while I just didn't like it all that much. It just started feeling mushy and there was a slight bit of movement between my but and the seat that was just annoying. Sold it on craigs list about a month after I bought it.

But as with everything, that is just one mans opinion.

    Congrats on the new ride!

Seats are tough to pick. They all feel pretty good when you do the test sit at the shop or booth. Sometimes it is just that anything different than what you are used to seems to feel better... at first. But until you have some miles in the seat you really don't know. I actually went through a couple myself on the Road King before I found the one I liked. Thanks to ebay I was able to get most of my money back out of the ones I didn't like. Good luck with your quest wolfhound!
