Well today I went to town to get supplies n on the way home there was n add from a roofing company saying it's better to hire the pros because the number one cause of at home accidents/fatalaties are from ladder falls........WTF ?  like I said...sure glad I aint supersticious....

Never Fear the Fall...it's the sudden stop that is the problem

I have always felt that superstition was more the power of suggestion. We all know that if you think something bad may happen, it probably will.  So like Rex said, get the thought out of your head.  But since you're not superstitious, you probably didn't give it much thought anyway.

I use to paint houses for a living (long time ago) and i never gave it a second through. Now there are days I can climb a ladder and be right back into being up high and others where it just freaks me out. It all a mind think go for a good ride forget about it for a while then paint some more.

Superstion is from the days of old. When the overlords wanted to get you to do as they wanted. Keep you in at nights they say that Werewolfs where around or Vampires. Just so they could reap your crops or steal your live stock. And so it went on till there where so many thing to be afraid of and that how superstions are born.
Make no mistake if you think about it it will happen the mind is an amence weapon and you can convince yourself it will happen and it does.

Me I'm not superstious have lucky 13 on my vest. Dead mans hand on the back of the sissybar for all to see as well as other bad luck charmes. Just be carefull and all will end well....

How about this idea, you paint all the low stuff and hire the neighbor kid to do all the high work. He will heal faster if he falls of the ladder. lol
