I wanna be just like him when I grow up. Only thing is, I don't think he has... He's only grown wiser... 88 years old and just bought another bike..

I had a brief chat with a 87 year old Ducati rider . . . One of the things he said that really made me laugh was that he had ditched his Harley because they had gotten to big,bloaty and slow LOL. He had 62 years in the saddle and would have had more but WW2 had put a damper on his plans to get his first bike. I hope to be like him when I'm that old.

· Brings up a great motorcycle story - Went back to Keweenaw for a college reunion & the riders among us were swapping stories when a WWII guy topped us. – His first motorcycle was a BMW liberated from a famer’s barn as they went thru Germany. The previous owner had removed the carburetor to prevent such happenings but being a young engineer he retrofitted it with one salvaged from a wrecked Renault. – He had the class command vehicle
