So, I'm chattin' up BOOF yesterday, and I mention that I'd like to go to Bike Week this year (March 9-18, Daytona), but that I also have a trip to North Carolina planned from the 17th thru 21st.  I can't afford to do both. (I can barely afford the one).  So BOOF says, that I should ask someone if I could "tack on" and go with them.  Now, I've never done this, so I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.  Anybody gotta come thru Jacksonville, that wouldn't mind some extra ballist on their bike?  I'd like to go opening weekend, cause I'd have to be back in J'ville by the following Friday. (the 16th) I travel light, and I'm a good passenger.  Ok, BOOF, it's "out there"!

Ok so I'm going to be in Pa in July I wanna ride to Jacksonville Fl, then northwest to Griffen Ga..then Newnan Ga then over to Greenville Al...and then on to Siouz Falls..any chicks wanna take me along..I'll pay gas n motels...

Jonesy...as I told you last night in chat, I'll escort you out of PA...won't know till later how far south I'll be able to go though.

I'll take you west on the Amish farm roads out past the York HD factory, then we can stop by Gettysburg, turn south and head for the hills in Western VA. From there you can zig over toward Myrtle Beach the ride the coastline the rest of the way to Jacksonville.

If you got time, you can hit Deal's Gap and the Tail of the Dragon along the way.

If it works out, Gettysburg Bike Week(end) is July 12-15. Maybe we can set up a meet & greet for you and any other fishies that want to come visit you while you are in the area.
