Every morning I search google news for the word motorcycle to see what is going on in the motorcycle world. The very sad truth is that the majority of results that come up for motorcycle news are accidents, and since they are in the news it is normally the really bad motorcycle accidents... 100s of them every day! Of course a majority of them are motorcycle vs car and too many because the driver didn't see the motorcycle. Please, please, please do everything you can to be safe out there and treat EVERY DRIVER like they DON'T SEE YOU. I really don't ever want to come across the name of a friend while looking through motorcycle news.

Lots of 180+ mph bikes over here and we have a lot of wrecks with serious injuries/deaths BUT in 9 years I've not seen a Harley in an accident. Too little experience + crazy horsepower to weight ratio = broken bike.

Snakechrmr - wish I could say the same, but I have seen many Harley accidents and read about many more every day over here, many are very experienced riders who just get taken out.
